Pushing along on my efforts to catch up with the Church, Today I have a first draft for the Bacolod Philippines Temple. Like most of my models lately, this is a really rough first draft, with the landscaping being mostly guess work.

Urdaneta Philippines Temple Video now Online!
In what is likely a first for me, I have a video ready for the Urdaneta Philippines Temple, and the official render was only released 4 days ago. Considering how quickly I got it done, I am impressed with how well it came out!
The groundbreaking for this temple is not until January, so we will have tow ait to find out details like the back side of the temple, and which direction it really faces on the lot, and what the Landscaping really looks like. You know, all those small details that are not all that small.
Click on through the link below to see all 2 or three of the details I have collected on this temple so far, as well as renders showing the model’s development.
Urdaneta Philippines Temple Model
UPDATE 11/22/2018: The video for this temple is already finished and online, see it here!
Monday morning I received an email from a friend saying he had a blurry image of the Urdanetta Temple render. There was not much in the way of visible detail on it, but I wanted a break, so I gave it a go:
I only worked on it for a few minutes, no more than half an hour. Later that afternoon the Church officially unveiled the full scale render when they announced the groundbreaking for the temple would take place on 16 January 2019. Well, the official render, anyway. For some reason this official image is half the number of pixels of most official renders. Sigh.
Anyway, that kicked me into full gear, and away I went:
I actually decided to start completely over, as the new render, low quality as it was, was still leaps and bounds better than the one blurry photo I had already.
Just 24 hours later I have a basic model in place. I hope to have a simple video, just going from one side to the other, done by weeks end. That will be determined by how fast my computer is. It will be done by Next week at the latest though!
Cebu City Philippines Temple Video
I have finished Cebu City Philippines! Enjoy the video!
Cebu City Philippines Temple Finished
Cebu City Philippines Temple is now a finished model and off into the render Que. 2 days, 2 finished models. That’s a pace I am not keeping up for long, I assure you.
This update features a complete rework of the proportions, based off a photo that was well taken that I was able to use for reference. The trees are in, the grounds are finished, the support buildings are in. Overall, this is one I am happy with. There are a few things I can do for a future update, perhaps someday when I have a really powerful computer I will go crazy with the trees and textures, but this will do for now.
Wednesday at Cebu City Philippines
Finished most of the temple details. I need the east and west-most center windows, the inscription, and the entryway. I made some decent progress on the grounds. Still need plants though, and the support buildings of which there are a few.
Wednesday at Cebu City Philippines
Today I traded out the ground texture, reworked the spire, multiple times (Still not sure it’s right) and added some detail. Here is the image from Saturday:
And here is what it looks like today:
