I found out today that the Church quietly commenced the renovation for the Stockholm Sweden Temple at the end of last month. Previously, the Church had just said that the renovation would begin sometime this year.
Some time last month, I finished this model, rendered it, then forgot all about it until the news broke about the renovation. So, here is Stockholm, according to my best guess, based upon the Church’s render.
I was so excited for this video, until I saw it finished. I am not the world’s greatest cinematographer. Unfortunately, I don’t really have time re-render right now, so take it as it is, and I will get you something better later!

Having completed it some weeks ago around Christmas, I as finally able to find time to render a new video for my updated Paris France Temple model. This model is more correct with the finished temple, it being the first made after the temple was dedicated.
I have finished the video for the Madrid Spain Temple. I love the grounds at this temple. The red/orange brick on the support buildings and terraces creates a nice contrast tot he white marble of the temple.

My model for the Lisbon Portugal Temple is now finished, or as finished as it can be when the foundations have just been poured for the actual temple. The church provided renders from multiple angles for this temple though, so it should be reasonably accurate. I have finally finished my Kyiv Ukraine Temple. One of the things I would like to do with this, and many of these models, is go through and replace the satellite imagery with something handmade. This is especially true at temples that. Like Kyiv, have very low resolution imagery available.

I am mostly happy with my Helsink Finland temple model. I am not sure I have the proportions for the spire correct, and I have since discovered a why that might work to fix this particular model if that is the case, but it looks rather close as it is.
Today was the Madrid Spain Temple. Looking at my standard image, it won’t look like I got much done here today. There are some garden beds on the east side, and new image for the terrain, plus I added a new sky for some High Dynamic Range lighting.
Where today’s refinements are truly noticeable is on the other side of the temple.
The covered portion of the entryway is now done. Their is now the arch with the window on this north side in as well. The temple itself is nearly done. I am devoting more time moving forward to the grounds.
Last week I was contacted by someone from the Church’s Public Affairs department in France. They asked if they could use my video of the Paris France Temple model in a video talking about the temple for their website.
I replied that they were more than welcome to, but if they would wait a week or two, I would provide them with more accurate material. Which I have now done! I don’t know if they will use the new video or not, or if they will end up using my work at all, but it was nice to have the motivation to push something through so quick.

Hope you enjoy it. I have enjoyed making it, and look forward to someday finding the time to make a night lit version of it. I am struggling with the new render engine on Blender, it seems to struggles with more lights in a scene.
