Birmingham Alabama Temple sits nestled in a small valley, surrounded on 2 sides by hills that are taller than it. The circles on the temple are under the inverted stepped trim. This puts the windows down to ground level, allowing them to be Floor to ceiling inside the temple. The windows are stained glass.
