Albuquerque New Mexico in the Evening

I returned to the Albuquerque New Mexico Temple this evening and took a few more photos. Some of them turned out the way I wanted them to. Most of them did not. It used to be I blamed my lack of photography knowledge for the kind of errors. Then I felt I knew enough and blamed my equipment. I think it actually falls to a lack of patience on my part now.

Still the temple was pretty, the night was warm, and my daughter was at the hotel sleeping. Sadly, so was my wife.

Albuquerque New Mexico Afternoon stop

The Albuquerque New Mexico Temple seems to be a long way from anywhere. It was several hours from our previous stop on the epic road trip, and it would be late morning the following day before we would reach the next.

I must say though, this temple goes well with those mountains. I don’t know if it is the color or the shape, it just fits.

The plan had been to stay here longer, but a tantrum from our daughter put an end to that.

Albuquerque New Mexico photo stop

Albuquerque 2006 01 13

On the way to El Paso, and the Ciudad Juarez Mexico Temple just over the border, a friend and I made a stop at the Albuquerque New Mexico Temple. I was co-driving as my friend was moving some things back to her parents house in El Paso. That was the real reason for the trip. I’m not one to miss out on an opportunity to visit a temple, however, so we mad e a little side stop.
